Athletics

CCS athletics are a valuable component to school life. A sense of school community is heightened through athletics, and we encourage involvment at sporting events! Elementary swimmers may participate in the swim team and once students are in the fourth grade, team sports, such as football, basketball, and pep squad are available. 6th grade begins Middle School sports, and students may participate in volleyball, cheerleading, cross country, football, basketball, track, golf, and tennis.

It is the goal of CCS sports to promote Christian discipleship, teamwork, effort, and both a growing ability in the sport and an enjoyment of the sport. CCS seeks to honor the family and promote sports as a positive experience for the family. Whether it's a basketball practice during PE or no games on Wednesdays, we are ever mindful of the priority of family.

Christ Covenant School has been blessed with growing sports facilities. Through the financial support of many, CCS enjoys a new gymnasium and football field, a scoreboard, stands, and more, and we look forward to continued growth in this area.

CCS is a member of the Mississippi Association of Indpendent Schools, whose policies govern athletics for members of the association. The CCS athletic department is made up of dedicated and qualified coaches under the direction of our athletic director.
