Extra-Curricular
Students benefit from opportunities to be involved in their school community in a variety of ways. Lower elementary students may participate in the 100 Mile Club, MAIS swim meet, and Little Dribblers. Boys may participate in flag football. In upper elementary, students also have the opportunity to participate in Safety Patrol, football, basketball, and pep squad. Field Day is a fun day for all students. CCS also participates in the MAIS spelling bee and art competition, as well as the ACSI creative writing competition.
In Middle School, additional opportunities include Student Council, Youth Legislature, Model United Nations, Lego League, Yearbook, Bible Studies, as well as an increased sports venue. Students may desire to play golf, tennis, volleyball, or cross country. There are additional costs associated with sports and some activities.
During Outback hours we offer lessons, which may include instuments, ballet, karate, gymnastics, indoor tennis, art, and cooking. Outback and instructional charges apply.
CCS is a wonderful place for your child to explore his God-given abilities, to foster friendships, and to succeed outside of the classroom.
