Preschool Admission Guidelines

A Covenant School
Christ Covenant School, in following a covenant approach to admissions, has been established to serve Christian families in the education of their covenant children. Therefore, at least one parent of each student must accept, know, love, and follow Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior and must be able to testify accordingly. Students of Christ Covenant School will receive instruction in the Christian faith, including instruction in the Bible. The school will teach its students a Christian world and life view, by which the school itself will endeavor to be guided in all its programs and activities.

Admissions Policy
Christ Covenant School admits students of any race, color, or national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students of the school. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational and admissions policies and school administered programs.

Central to the mission of Christ Covenant School is a partnership with the home so that children will be equipped to love the Lord, to think biblically, and to glorify God in every area of life. On occasion, the atmosphere or conduct within a particular home may be in opposition to the biblical lifestyle the school teaches. This includes, but is not limited to: sexual immorality, homosexual orientation, or inability to support the moral principles of the school. In such cases, the school reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse admission of an applicant or to discontinue enrollment of a student.

Preschool Students must be potty trained before school begins.

Waiting List 
A waiting list is in place for grades that are full. To be put on the waiting list, the admissions process must be completed. If a grade fills during priority enrollment, students are placed on the waiting list with priority by order of the date the application fee is received. During open enrollment, any student applying for a full class is placed on the waiting list by order of the date the application fee is received. Multiple enrollment forms received by mail are drawn randomly. If a place is not secured, the application and application fee may be rolled over to the next year. The application fee is nonrefundable. Note: Preschool admission does not require the contract fee that begins with student admission to kindergarten.

Admission Ages
Students admitted to K-3 must be three years old before September 1st. Students admitted to K-4 must be four years old by September 1st and so forth.
